Research Support Services

The primary purpose of the Research Support Services Office (RSS) is to advance the research mission of Oklahoma State University by reducing the administrative burden on faculty members in the College, so their focus remains on quality research and mentoring students.   As a pre-award office, RSS plays several key support roles:  assisting with the identification of potential sponsors; interpreting proposal guidelines; managing the internal procedures for timely, compliant, and accurate submission of proposals and related documents; sheparding documents through the University’s system; and formatting, packaging, and submitting proposals on behalf of the PI and the University.  As an integral component in the College’s proposal management process, RSS works hand-in-hand with the College’s Business Office, University Research Compliance, the Office of University Research, colleges within the Oklahoma State University system, and external entities.
